Kabbalah: 33 Teachings on Wisdom
What Determines Everything Is How We Perceive Reality
All of humanity is structured like a pyramid; 99% of the world’s population are passive. They do not research or develop but merely depend on the fruits of scientific discoveries to survive.
Evil resides within our egoistic nature.
Pain causes us to make the necessary effort to move toward a seemingly better state. Without pain, progress is impossible. The higher force has no other way than to promote us toward a better state through pain.
The purpose of every state a person experiences is to teach us something that will advance us toward realizing the ultimate goal.
What determines everything is the way we, as individuals, perceive reality, while reality itself is actually unchanging. Everything depends on how we cultivate our own capacity for perception.
We must understand that we judge everything based on the perception occurring within ourselves.
One who studies reality will discover the reason for our existence, know where we are all headed, and understand the cause of the various problems we encounter.
If we wish to fundamentally change anything, we must rise above ourselves. Only at those higher levels can we acquire the understanding and the ability to fundamentally change things.
The wisdom of Kabbalah elevates us to the higher worlds, allowing a person to observe the behavior of every object in this world from above.
Through study, a person gradually develops a sharp, deep insight into the reality of existence, beginning to perceive the “backstage” operations that govern the substance of this world and the forces controlling this visible, tangible substance.
In the spiritual world, we shift from observing the picture of reality to understanding the forces that paint reality. Kabbalah is the key that enables us to enter the “control room” of reality.
The correct way of perceiving reality is extremely important to us. By separating ourselves from what we cannot control, we avoid confusion. If we restrict ourselves to what we can control, we will perceive the true picture of reality.
The only way to accelerate the vessel’s construction of the form it currently lacks is by choosing the proper environment that can help it achieve spiritual progress.
When we are at a point of choice, we should choose an environment that positively influences our spiritual development and helps us make spiritual progress.
We cannot succeed in this task individually. What we can do is acquire a sufficiently strong desire and connect with others through this desire.
Alone, without a method or a suitable social environment, we cannot break through into the spiritual world.
As one’s connection with every other soul grows closer, we gain increasing collective ability and spiritual attainment.
The wisdom of Kabbalah transforms a person from a state of painful advancement driven from behind by negative forces into a state of rapid, easy advancement pulled forward by positive forces.
If we voluntarily and willingly draw ourselves toward the “Light” and develop accordingly, we will escape those terrible disasters.
If we can advance with the help of the “Light,” our steps will outpace the steps of suffering that press upon us.
The Creator is unchanging, and His attitude toward His creation is absolute and unchanging. That is, He is good and does only good—equally to the righteous and the wicked, without distinction.
Physical reality is a replica, a projection of the spiritual world—like a branch growing from a root.
Our lives are a branching outcome of everything that occurs within us.
The improvement of human qualities is called “ascension through all the worlds on different levels.”
Using any part of the desire to receive with the intention to give means that one has balanced the pressure from the Creator accordingly.
When we want to receive power, we turn to that infinite state we call the “Creator.” To receive power and knowledge, we turn to the already corrected state in which we already exist—the state we must yearn for.
If we can rise above wanting to enjoy the results our vessel feels and the benefits they bring, and instead correct ourselves, we will no longer be affected by what happens at the beginning, middle, or end.
In an egoistic vessel, the more pleasing and satisfying a phenomenon is perceived to be, in the eyes of one who senses the spiritual world, the farther it is from the essence of the higher force.
Reaching the root of reality grants the researcher the ability to control events before they occur in our world.
When viewing reality with an altruistic attitude, we no longer perceive only a small part of reality but reach its very root, ascending to the control room of reality—its headquarters.
If the creation willingly advances toward the Creator, that person’s experience of the Creator’s revelation will be a rich flow that passes through them and continually intensifies.
It is precisely through the feeling of “self-annihilation” that a door of opportunity opens before a person, allowing them to begin to define themselves. At this exact point, one can completely determine one’s independent attitude toward reality.
To sustain society, everyone must certainly abide by the rules that society has established, but for personal growth, the uniqueness of each individual must be fully respected.
